Avanguardia Antiquaria Gallery keeps a solid dialogue with the present-day, periodically hosting personal and group shows of contemporary art. Bringing into question time understood as a limit, an interchange between the present-day artistic culture and antique art can be initiated, and vice versa. The presence of contemporary artists broaden the identity of this location, and every event is an occasion for show how the beauty of the past can live together with the new forms of present-day artistic avant-garde: two apparently distinct realities, which instead meet in a great poetic equilibrium.
