Production Petucco & Tolio

Description

Ceramic centrepiece crafted by the 'Petucco & Tolio' manufacture of artistic ceramics active in Nolo, near Bassano, from 1945 to the end of the 1970s. The manufacture participated in the Venice Biennale in 1948 and 1956, and in the National Ceramics Exhibition in Vicenza in 1949 and 1961. The centrepiece reproduces the canvas 'Toilette devant la fenêtre', painted by Georges Braque in 1942 and exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
